Description

Reese’s Brownies deliver pure chocolate and peanut butter bliss straight from your kitchen. Rich chocolate batter swirled with creamy peanut butter and studded with chopped Reese’s cups creates an epic dessert that disappears faster than you can slice them.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 8.5 oz bags of Reeses Baking Cups
  • 2 8.5 oz bags of Reeses Pieces Candy

Supporting Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring the edges overhang for easy removal.
  2. Combine 2 cups white sugar, 1 ½ cups flour, 1 cup butter, 4 eggs, ½ cup cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla, ½ teaspoon baking powder, and ½ teaspoon salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Blend the ingredients thoroughly until your batter reaches a smooth, consistent texture.
  4. Spread exactly half of the batter evenly across the prepared pan’s bottom.
  5. Scatter one entire 8.5 oz bag of Reeses Baking Cups and one bag of Reeses Pieces Candy over the first batter layer.
  6. Pour the remaining batter carefully over the candy layer, covering it completely.
  7. Sprinkle the second bag of Reeses cups and Reeses Pieces across the top surface.
  8. Gently press the candies into the batter so they’re partially embedded.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 55-65 minutes, checking doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center – it should come out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Check brownies at 50 minutes to prevent overcooking, as baking times can vary by oven.
  • Press Reeses cups gently into the batter so they’re partially embedded but not completely submerged.
  • For a gluten-free version, swap regular flour with a cup-for-cup gluten-free baking blend.
  • Cool brownies completely before cutting to help them set and maintain a clean, sharp edge when sliced.
