Description

Strawberry cheesecake cobbler brings together two dessert classics in one delightful pan of pure comfort. Creamy cheesecake filling mingles with sweet strawberries and a buttery crumble topping that melts in your mouth with each delicious spoonful.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 5 cups fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese

Supporting Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and pour 1 cup melted unsalted butter into an 11×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Beat 4 ounces softened cream cheese at medium speed until creamy. Mix in 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until fully combined.
  3. Whisk 2 cups flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt, and 1 ½ cups sugar in a large bowl. Gradually stir in 2 cups whole milk until batter becomes smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the butter-coated baking dish. Distribute 4 cups halved strawberries evenly across the surface.
  5. Drop heaping teaspoons of the cream cheese mixture randomly over the strawberry-covered batter.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for another 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Toss the remaining 1 cup strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar for topping.
  8. Let the cobbler cool slightly. Dust with confectioners’ sugar and serve warm or chilled with the sugared strawberry topping.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature cream cheese for the smoothest, creamiest texture without lumps.
  • Slice strawberries uniformly to ensure even distribution and consistent baking throughout the cobbler.
  • For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with a cup-for-cup gluten-free flour blend.
  • If fresh strawberries aren’t available, frozen berries work well – just thaw and drain excess liquid before adding to the recipe.
